Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is ready to offer Cesar Azpilicueta a new contract.

Marca says zpilicueta will sign a new two-year contract at Chelsea after a move to Barcelona was rejected.

The decision was made after the Blues requested a fee, of around £7m, way above the Blaugrana's ability this summer.

It is claimed that Chelsea's previous regime had agreed to let him leave this summer for free - something the Boehly-Clearlake team was not keen on.
