Chelsea have considered a move for Benfica coach Roger Schmidt.
Sky Sports reports the 56-year-old was briefly the subject of internal discussions at the London giants. However, no concrete negotiations were held.
Schmidt led Benfica to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they were stopped by Inter Milan.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player is tied to the Portuguese until 2026 and also has an exit clause of 30 million euros.
