Chelsea directors insist they want to keep hold of N'Golo Kante.
However, they've also warned he must be realistic with his terms given his recent injury record.
Kante's contract expires at the end of this season and it emerged this week agents have offered the World Cup winner to Arsenal and Tottenham.
A Blues insider told L'Equipe: "It is obvious that N'Golo is very important for our team and that we want him to extend.
"But we have to take into account these last two incomplete seasons and come to a compromise."
