Chelsea are being linked with the shock transfer of Aston Villa starlet Jhon Duran.
The youngster is a backup at Villa Park under manager Unai Emery, with Ollie Watkins the starter.
However, reporter Nathan Gissing states that Chelsea are looking at Duran as a loan option.
The club are without Nicholas Jackson due to African Cup of Nations involvement.
Duran only has two goals in 17 substitute appearances so far at Villa this season.
The forward was linked to Chelsea prior to his 18 million move to Villa last January.
