Chelsea fans are upset at co-owner Todd Boehly's Hilton Hotels stunt.

The American co-owner of the Blues, who has been the figurehead of reckless spending that has not yielded a single trophy, placed a Hilton Hotels bed in the balcony of a club stand.

Fans are furious at the stadium Stamford Bridge being used for the purposes of such product promotion.

A fan on Twitter wrote: Matthew Harding funded that stand and it is a special end for true, old school Chelsea fans.

To replace seats for advertising is absolutely shameful."

The gimmick, a part of Hilton's advertising campaign, is said to have included a bed, a wall-mounted TV and several dressing gowns.
