Chelsea right-back Malo Gusto has spoken about his first call-up to the French senior squad.
The flier, who is the understudy to club captain Reece James at the Blues, came in for Jules Kounde in the France squad for this month's international games.
The right-back, who played both France Under-21 games in the last international break, will now get a chance to show his quality at senior level.
He told club media: I was a bit surprised because I was preparing to represent Les Espoirs [France's Under-21s] as usual, but when I was on the train, I received a message to say that I was stepping up.
It's a big honor and very good news for me. They were very proud of me and encouraged me to keep going.
Now I'm here I want to make an impression on everyone."
