Chelsea have agreed a loan fee with Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku.
Talks have been ongoing for the past fortnight and there's a confidence a deal will be struck this week, says the Daily Mail.
The two clubs are now close to reaching common ground over a loan fee for the Belgian, with Inter conceding they cannot afford to buy back their former centre-forward.
Instead, Inter have increased their opening 12-month loan offer of £6million to £8.5m with add-ons. A further video call is set for Monday.
Chelsea have raised the prospect of a swap deal involving the likes of Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries, though all signs are that the deal will only involve Lukaku.
