Leeds United legend John Giles has slammed the hiring of Frank Lampard by Chelsea.
Lampard has stepped in to the end of the season after Graham Potter's sacking.
"It's total rubbish," Giles said on The Football Show. "Frank Lampard is coming until the end of the season, I can't see him performing miracles until the end of the season to get the job again.
"Potter is only there this season. A lot of the signings he hasn't been responsible for, the owners are responsible for them. Why not let Potter stay on until the end of the season?
"See if he can get a grip of the situation. There's so many players that they've bought it's difficult to do so. He's not responsible for that."
