Chelsea are pushing forward with plans for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana.
The France U21 international signed a two-year contract extension with Leicester in March, keeping him at Leicester until 2027.
This has meant Leicester have slapped an £85m asking price for Fofana, one which they thought would deter Chelsea.
However, Sky Sports that Chelsea are looking to organise a deal which would involve players as part of the offer.
The report does not specify which players will be included in the deal, although Chelsea are looking to part ways with several players.
Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Levi Colwill could all leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Blues have missed out on Nathan Ake, Jules Kounde and Matthijs De Ligt to bolster their backline this summer.
Thomas Tuchel has recruited from Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, but he wants more defenders, including Fofana.
