Chelsea are ready to keep hold of Diego Moreira for the remainder of the season.
The 19 year-old winger joined in the summer from Benfica and he was loaned immediately to Olympique Lyon.
But he is now being sent back as OL seek to free up a loan spot.
The London Evening Standard says Moreira will now be added to Chelsea's senior squad, rather than be sent away on-loan again.
With OL, Moreira started four games and made a total of nine appearances.
