Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has outlined the chances of two new signings making their debuts against West Ham over the weekend.
The Blues have signed midfielders Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Romeo Lavia from Southampton.
After securing both of their key targets, Pochettino must decide how to integrate the two into his team.
He told reporters of the signings: "We have one day more to assess them, but it has been stressful weeks for Moises and Romeo also.
It would be easy to say they would be involved but the most important thing is to avoid risks and not to rush with them.
If they are ready tomorrow, they will be involved but if not, we will wait a few days more to be involved in the squad."
