Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos will re-apply for a work permit in the coming weeks.
The January signing, who arrived from Vasco da Gama, has won the Under-20 South American Championship.
Per the Evening Standard, winning the tournament will give him a leg up in the work permit process.
Santos was man of the match for Brazil's Under-20 side in the final against Uruguay.
He netted six times in the tournament, despite playing as a defensive midfielder.
Blues fans will be hoping to see Santos playing in the Premier League as soon as possible.
