Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has undergone successful knee surgery.
The youngster broke down during defeat at West Ham after scoring to bring the visitors level in the first-half.
Chukwuemeka suffered a knee strain and went under the knife on Monday. He is expected to be missing for six weeks.
Bitter sweet feeling scoring my first goal for Chelsea but picking up an injury and not coming home with three points," Chukwuemeka said on social media.
