Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka is on his way to Argentina to join England's U20 World Cup squad.
Chukwuemeka's participation was delayed with Chelsea caretaker manager Frank Lampard insisting he see out the Premier League season.
England drew 0-0 with Iraq on Sunday to finish top of their group. They now face Italy in a last-16 clash on Tuesday night.
Chukwuemeka started in defeat at Manchester United last week. He came off the bench in the second half against Newcastle for Sunday's 1-1 draw.
