Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is set to undergo a late fitness test due to a thigh problem ahead of the clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.
He is set to have a scan to examine the injury and he was not involved in training on Friday to help him recover.
The Athletic report that the club are hopeful that he will be fit for the game on Sunday.
Mount was substituted at half time in the Blues' Champions League win over AC Milan in midweek after winning a penalty just 20 minutes in.
The 23-year-old has started every match under Graham Potter since he took over last month and he has been immune from the manager's rotation.
He is the only outfield player to do so in the five games the ex-Brighton boss has been in charge of.
