Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is eager to tie down their young stars to long-term contracts.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea are gearing up to offer SEVEN-YEAR contracts to Reece James, Mason Mount and Armando Broja.
The three players have established themselves in the Premier League after coming through Chelsea's academy. Albania international Broja is back in Thomas Tuchel's squad this season after impressing on loan at Southampton, while England stars James and Mount were a big part of the team which reached two cup finals last term.
Premier League clubs rarely offer players deals of that length. However, after adding a number of young talents to the Blues' squad over the summer, owner Boehly is said to be ready to buck the trend.
Boehly's "US-style" contract policy will apply to players under the age of 25. Not all of the deals will be as long as seven years, but the named trio are expected to be offered six-year terms with the option to extend by a further year.
Mount's deal could be the most urgent, with the midfielder out of contract in 2024. James' current deal expires one year after that, while Broja, the youngest of the trio, is under contract until 2026.
