Chelsea are being linked with a surprise move for Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson.
The Blues are determined to add a new center forward to their squad for boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Per the Evening Standard, Chelsea are now assessing 21--year-old Jackson with a view to an immediate transfer.
The Senegal international is available for around 30 million this summer after scoring nine goals in his last eight La Liga games of the season.
Compared to the likes of Victor Osimhen, who are priced at three times that figure, Jackson may be an attainable target for Chelsea.
However, the London club may face competition, with the likes of Manchester United also chasing a forward this summer.
