Chelsea are giving serious consideration to recalling Andrey Santos from Nottingham Forest in January.
The 19-year-old has played 96 minutes over two matches for the Premier League side.
Forest secured him on loan under the condition that he would be playing regularly.
Per The Standard, Chelsea had very high hopes for the teenage midfielder when he signed.
Santos joined Chelsea in a 16 million deal from Brazilian side Vasco de Gama in January.
If he does not play a set number of games by January, which appears to be the case, he can be recalled by the Blues without any Forest involvement.
