Chelsea are ready to put in an improved 70 million-plus offer for Moises Caicedo.
The Ecuadorian international midfielder is the key target for the Blues in that position this summer.
Per the Evening Standard, Chelsea will test Brighton's resolve to hold onto their starlet in the coming days.
They will put in a mega money bid that is higher than their 60 million offer earlier this summer, which was rejected.
Brighton are not in the mood to sell for a reasonable fee, as they value Caicedo too highly.
Having already lost Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool through a release clause, they value Caicedo at 100 million.
