Chelsea have hit back at claims that they deliberately scuppered the transfer of Hakim Ziyech to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Moroccan international was hoping to make a loan move to the Parisien club this winter.
However, his deal was not done on time, with the Ligue 1 club failing to register him before the transfer deadline on the 31st.
Per the Daily Mail, Chelsea have refuted claims that they thrice submitted incorrect documentation regarding the transfer.
They have blamed technological issues for the documents not getting to PSG on time.
Ziyech will now have to stay at Chelsea until the summer at the earliest.
