Everton have rejected an offer from Chelsea from Anthony Gordon.
The academy product had a breakout campaign for Everton last season.
Chelsea put forward a £40m bid for the 21-year-old.
The west London club are expected to return with a higher offer, per BBC.
There is also potential for a cash-plus-player loan as Everton have previously been linked with two Chelsea players, Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher.
Sources claim the deal could be sealed in a few days as 'personal terms will not be an issue'.
