Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly faces huge dressing room unrest regarding player wages.

The Blues will not be playing Champions League football next season.

Given they are in the bottom half of the Premier League and out of this season's competition, they have no chance of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the 2023-2024 edition.

Per The Sun, it means that every player will have their wages reduced by 30 percent.

Such a move is not new, as clubs such as Manchester United have employed similar tactics.

However, many players who have recently signed new deals or arrived with the promise of huge salaries will not be happy.

Interestingly, players who are on older contracts from the Roman Abramovich era will not have to take on such a deduction.

It means that only recent contract renewals and signings under Boehly will have reduced wages.
