Chelsea are ready to wreck Liverpool plans for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes.
The Telegraph says Chelsea are prepared to go head-to-head with Liverpool for the signing of Nunes.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been linked with a summer move for the Portuguese star in recent weeks, having also been tipped to move for the 24-year-old prior to his Premier League switch.
Chelsea are also keen on Nunes, who have included the former Sporting Lisbon man on a list of 'potential targets' which includes Declan Rice of West Ham and Amadou Onana of Everton.
Nunes is expected to cost 44million, should any side move for him in the summer.
