Chicago Fire are waiting on Chelsea to make an offer for Gabriel Slonina.
The teenage shot-stopper has seen a bid from Real Madrid turned down by his MLS club.
Chelsea are expected to now step in after expressing interest in January, though are yet to make a formal offer.
Chicago Fire rate Slonina, who is leaning towards committing his international future to Poland, in the £10-15m class.
It's expected if Chelsea do sign the youngster, they'll send him back to Chicago Fire on-loan for the remainder of the MLS season, reports Yardbarker.
