Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor chaired the first State Security Working Committee (JKKN) meeting for 2026 at Menara Kinabalu on Thursday.

The meeting reviewed state security matters and aimed to streamline coordination and strategic cooperation among relevant agencies to enhance preparedness, strengthen security controls, and safeguard the sovereignty of Sabah and the nation.

Present were the State Secretary, Datuk Seri Safar Untong, State Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun, State Immigration Director, Datuk Sh. Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof, Esscom Commander, Datuk Victor B. Sanjos, Sabah Maritime and Federal Territory of Labuan Director First Admiral Mohd Khairulanuar Abd Majid, Deputy Eastern Fleet Commander, First Admiral Erman Shahril Adlan and Sabah State Security Council Secretary of the Datuk Awang Yahya.
