A bystander and police officer saved a child who was clinging to a window ledge above a busy high street.
Footage shows the young girl holding onto a ledge above a pawnbrokers shop in Ilford, east London on Tuesday (7 June), as horrified onlookers watched on.
A woman can be seen reaching up to help before a police officer and another man appear, who catch the child as she falls.
A Met Police spokesperson said that officers were called to the scene “following concerns for the safety of a child climbing onto a window ledge”. They confirmed that nobody received any injuries during the incident.
