  • At least 12 Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, two boys, and eight police officers, were killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
  • A morning strike on a residential property in the Nuseirat urban refugee camp claimed the lives of four individuals, including a couple, their 10-year-old son, and a 15-year-old neighbour, with the woman reportedly pregnant with twins.
  • Later on Sunday, a separate Israeli strike targeted a police vehicle on the Salah al-Din route, resulting in the deaths of eight police officers, including a senior official.
  • The Israeli military stated it struck a Hamas militant in response to an earlier incident, while these deaths are the latest fatalities since an October ceasefire, which has seen almost daily Israeli fire.
  • Separately, Israel announced the reopening of Gaza's Rafah crossing with Egypt starting Wednesday for “limited” passenger traffic after a two-week hiatus, though no cargo will be permitted.
