Over the past few years, Singapore has seen a surge in China bubble tea brands, and we’re not complaining. From Heytea to Chagee, these spots have won us over with their floral and herbal blends that not only taste good but also promise a range of health benefits. Now, there’s a new entrant to Singapore’s ever-growing tea scene, Molly Tea.
Hailing from Shenzhen, China, Molly Tea is loved for its signature floral tea concepts and aesthetic store designs. Since its opening in 2021, the brand has quickly grown to over 2,000 outlets worldwide, including the US, UK, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Its latest outpost officially opens on March 6 (soft opening on March 3) and spans 1400 square feet, its largest outlet in Southeast Asia. Serving as Singapore’s flagship, the space is decked in Molly Tea’s signature design, with soft pink hues and elegant floral elements. The brand’s iconic mascot also makes an appearance at the Singapore flagship, this time dressed in an adorable Merlion costume.
What to order at Molly Tea Singapore
The newly opened outlet will serve up Molly Tea’s signature brews, like the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea (S$5.20). The brand’s most popular drink, this tea is made from freshly picked double-petal jasmine flowers from Guangxi. It’s infused into high-mountain tea through a seven-step scenting process and blended with milk. The result is sweet and delicate with a long-lasting floral aroma.
For an elevated experience, go for the Snowy Jasmine (S$6.50) that’s paired with the brand’s signature jasmine whipped cream. This light and creamy foam is infused with jasmine, beautifully complementing the rich milk tea.
Prefer something refreshing? The Pistachio Jasmine Coconut (S$6.20) pairs jasmine coconut water with a nutty pistachio cheese while the Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea (S$5.90) is floral and fruity. Matcha fans can look forward to the White Champaca Matcha (S$5.90) that sees fragrant White Champaca Tea with a matcha cheese foam.
Molly Tea Singapore’s all-pink pop-up experience
Along with the store’s opening, Molly Tea Singapore will also host an all-pink pop-up experience. From today until March 22, the three-week experience will be located opposite the outlet, complete with its signature push cart, merchandise display wall and a floral installation.
