  • China's Communist Party's Taiwan Work Office said it would explore establishing a long-term communication mechanism with Taiwan’s Kuomintang Party.
  • The measures reverse previous suspensions, such as import bans on various Taiwanese agricultural products since 2021 and restrictions on individual Chinese travel to Taiwan since 2019.
  • Additionally, China indicated plans to work towards constructing a bridge connecting the Taiwanese islands of Matsu and Kinmen.
