BEIJING: A Chinese diver survived five days trapped in an underwater cave in Xiangxi, Hunan, astonishing netizens.

Wang, a man in his 40s, disappeared on July 19 just minutes into a river dive, SCMP reported.

Police and rescue teams, including special forces from Guangxi, searched the cave system but initial dives failed.
