During this holy month of Ramadan, Muslims around the globe, including in Malaysia observe a strict fast from dawn to sunset.
Accordingly, it has since become somewhat of a yearly event for Muslims in Malaysia to Iftar or break their fast together during sunset at the Ramadan bazaar or even picnic-style at large open fields such as Putrajaya Square.
Non-Muslims share their POV of breaking fast together with the crowds in Putrajaya
Well, the festive spirit radiating from this breaking fast massive gathering has seemingly attracted non-Muslims in Malaysia too.
For instance, a popular Malaysian fitness influencer on TikTok @maviswfitness recently took to the platform to share her experience joining in with the crowd to break fast together at Putrajaya Square.
In the video, @maviswfitness was joined by fellow fitness content creator @allison_phuise at Putrajaya Square and seemed to have a splendid time.
In the caption, @maviswfitness lauded what they experienced at the break fast gathering as something truly one Malaysia.
At the start of the video, both of them can be seen holding up their hands to pray together with the rest of the crowd.
They also showed the crowd around Putrajaya Square, which was filled to the brim. Despite being only one of the few non-Muslims in the crowd, everyone was friendly with them and treated them like family.
In fact, a beverages vendor there even gave the two of them free drinks. Aww, so kind of you abang!

In the comments, many Malaysians were touched by the sight as it truly showed what our country is all about; unity in diversity.
One commenter said that even though she’s a non-Muslim, but when eating together with their Muslim friends during Iftar, she would always wait for the call to prayers first so that they can eat together.
Meanwhile, one Malaysian praised the kind abang who offered free drinks to the 2 fitness TikTokers.
Besides that, one netizen said the way the 2 friends joined in with holding up their hands to pray before break fast with the rest of the crowd was cuteness overload.
