
PENAMPANG: Police are tracking down a motorcyclist involved in a hit-and-run case that killed a Chinese national near the Putatan JKR traffic light on Wednesday.
Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton said the 50-year-old victim was crossing the road alone from a hotel towards the Servay Supermarket area when he was struck by a motorcycle at 1.30am.

“The motorcyclist was nowhere to be found,” he said, Friday.

“The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he added.
