
Kota Kinabalu: China Liansheng Pulp and Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd., which has an annual paper production value of over $20 billion yuan, is interested in Sabah's good rainfall, good climate, good soil and faults, and is exploring investments and looking for 250,000 hectares of land to plant large-scale paper forests.
Capital Associates Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Dr Ling Hie Sing said that senior executives of Liansheng Pulp and Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. have frequently come to Sabah to study the project's feasibility, according to a statement.

Members of the Liansheng Pulp and Paper delegate included forestry company Director Lin Chunxing, Director Zhu Fuquan, General Manager Wu Fuyuan and Delegate Leader Lin Yiyin.
