Today, we are predestined to be united under the unity government led by Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The unity government, also known as the “Madani Government” is one that seeks unity, harmony and progress over division and strife. Pakatan Harapan has been instrumental in fostering this unity, and I urge you to continue supporting us in the upcoming state elections on August 12, 2023, especially in Penang, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan, where we currently rule.

In these three states, Pakatan Harapan has demonstrated its commitment to bringing people together, transcending ethnic, religious, and cultural barriers. By working collectively, we have achieved meaningful progress and made positive changes that have benefitted all citizens. I implore you to vote for Pakatan Harapan with an even larger majority, so we can continue building on the foundations we have laid and create a brighter future for everyone.

However, I acknowledge that in Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah, where PAS, a coalition partner of Perikatan Nasional, currently holds sway, the situation may be different. To the voters in those states, I urge you to consider a new approach and give Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional a chance. The unity government comprising Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional is the key to a stable and thriving economy in our beloved country. In just eight months of our unity government's rule, we have already witnessed significant progress.

The inflation rate has reduced to a mere 2.4%, the lowest in 14 months. This incredible feat is a testament to our government's planning and direction, proving that unity can yield tangible benefits for the nation.

Beyond economic stability, a united government represents hope for a future where we embrace our diversity as a strength and work together towards a common vision while the door of cooperation with PN has never been closed. Together, we can tackle pressing issues, from environmental challenges to improving education and healthcare for all Malaysians.

Even though many of Pakatan Harapan’s candidates have been changed, the new candidates have been vetted by the respective parties and are well-suited to represent Pakatan Harapan. A strong Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional win will translate into a stable government at the federal level. Therefore, let us all do our national duty to ensure a victorious win for PH-BN this August.

Let us remember that we are all Malaysians, regardless of our backgrounds. Our strength lies in our unity, and it is by coming together that we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way. Division only hinders our progress and weakens us as a nation. As we head to the polling booths, I urge you to consider the bigger picture.

A vote for Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional is a vote for unity, progress, and a better Malaysia for all. We have seen what we can achieve in just eight months, and I am confident that together, we can build a bright future for generations to come. Vote for a united Malaysia. Vote for a unity government.
