Former Roma fullback Cicinho has slammed Flamengo over signing Arturo Vidal.
Vidal secured a release from his Inter Milan contract to join Fla as a free agent.
Cicinho told UOL: “Vidal is a very good player, but at Flamengo he'll become nothing. He posted a video dancing… He's a guy who's coming to the end of his career.
“In my opinion he came to enjoy retirement, a beach life. There is so much talk that Vidal had options, but why didn't he go somewhere else?
"Why did he go to Flamengo? Do you think it was for love? We're kidding ourselves!"
