CIMB is currently running a campaign to promote the launch of its new Daily Unrestricted Investment Account-i (DURIAN-i), allowing accountholders to win exclusive monthly and year-end prizes such as an Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. Already ongoing, the CIMB DURIAN-i Riuh Durian Runtuh campaign is set to run until 31 December 2023.
For context, CIMB’s DURIAN-i is a shariah-compliant daily investment account, where you’ll be able to reap the fruits of your investments in the form of monthly profits. The minimum initial investment stands at RM50, and you’re required to always maintain a minimum balance of RM50 in the account after opening one. The account also allows you to tap into selected shopping, dining, and travel privileges and deals offered via a Mastercard debit card.
With regard to the DURIAN-i Riuh Durian Runtuh campaign itself, all accountholders are eligible to participate by meeting specified savings and spend conditions via the account. This then earns them a number of entries, which puts them in the running to win the following monthly or year-end prizes:

To select the winners for monthly prizes, CIMB will use a randomiser programme to shortlist potential winners from a pool of eligible customers within eight weeks after the last day of a campaign month. Upon being shortlisted, these individuals will be contacted via SMS, and then required to answer one question correctly. Those who do so the fastest will be confirmed as the winners.
A similar process applies to the selection of year-end prize winners; a group of potential winners, too, will be shortlisted using a randomiser programme within eight weeks from 31 December 2023. Following that, they will be contacted via SMS to answer one question correctly. The fastest 100 individuals to reply will win.
If you do manage to win, the prizes will be couriered to you or credited into your DURIAN-i within six to eight weeks after the announcement of the winners. Note that each eligible customer is only entitled to win one monthly prize every three months, and one year-end prize throughout the whole campaign period.
Those who are interested to participate in the campaign can open their DURIAN-i at the nearest CIMB branch today and plant a minimum initial investment of RM50. No registration is required for this campaign.
