
Kota Kinabalu: Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (CIS) recorded a strong financial performance for the financial year 2025 by distributing a total of RM40 million in dividends to its shareholders.
Speaking at the dividend presentation ceremony here on Wednesday, CIS general manager Sumardi Mohd Yusof said the payout reflects the company's continuous commitment to operational excellence, sustainable growth, and good corporate governance.
Under the distribution, the Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco) received the largest share of RM19.9 million, while Tasek Corporation Berhad and the Sabah Ports Authority received RM12 million and RM7.9 million respectively.
For the financial year ended 2025, the local cement manufacturer registered total sales revenue of RM541 million and achieved a profit before tax of RM81 million.
The company stated that its strong financial foundation and strategic direction will continue to drive long-term growth while increasing its contribution to Sabah’s economic development.
