Citi has renewed its 2022 Online, E-Wallet, and 0% Easy Payment Plan (EPP) campaign, this time set to run from 1 August until 31 October 2022. Originally meant to take place between 1 February to 31 July this year, it will continue to reward Citi credit cardholders with up to RM118 cashback when they meet specified minimum spend requirements under the online and e-wallet category, as well as the 0% EPP category.

In this latest round of the campaign, the campaign mechanics and details generally remain unchanged. Citi cardholders will need to spend the following amounts on their credit cards to earn the cashback rewards provided, as per the following details:

Under the online and e-wallet category, make sure to spend with participating e-commerce merchants and e-wallet platforms to ensure that your transactions are eligible for the campaign, namely:

  • Boost
  • GrabPay
  • KiplePay
  • Lazada Wallet
  • Setel
  • ShopeePay
  • Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet

Citi also specifically mentioned that BigPay transactions will not be considered as qualifying spend under the online and e-wallet category. Additionally, note that 0% EPP transactions will take between three to five business days from the actual day of purchase to be reflected in your statement – so if you’re timing your purchases to benefit from this campaign, remember to take this period into account.

Meanwhile, transactions that are excluded from this campaign include payments made via JomPay as well as recurring insurance payments. Balance transfers and instalments paid under Citi PayLite, too, are not eligible.

As always, the cashback rewards under this campaign will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis, with Citi allocating a total of RM177,000 to be disbursed each campaign month (RM150,000 for online and e-wallet spend, and RM27,000 for 0% EPP spend). Those who have earned cashback rewards will receive the amount within 60 days after the end of each campaign month.
