Kota Kinabalu: City Hall will temporarily close the parking lots and sections of Jalan Tugu – from the Kampung Air roundabout to the Horizon roundabout – in conjunction with the Anzac Day commemoration “Lest We Forget” at the North Borneo War Monument on April 24.
The road and parking areas will be closed on two occasions: for a full rehearsal on April 23 and for the actual event on April 24.
On both days, closures will take place in two phases – midnight to 11am, and again from 6am to 11am – along the affected stretch of Jalan Tugu.
In a statement, DBKK advised the public to follow instructions from enforcement officers and to exercise caution when using nearby parking spaces.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternative routes, and park in other designated areas to help ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow during the event.
