During the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, where thousands of students had gathered on Saturday, at least 93 mobile phones were reportedly stolen. Several participants later reported their phones missing, raising concerns about security arrangements and crowd management at the demonstration.

Authorities are examining the complaints, while the incident has sparked widespread discussion on social media.

The protest, organised by the youth-led online movement CJP, saw students demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Demonstrators alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment tests, including NEET, CBSE, CUET and SSC exams, and called for greater accountability in the education system.
