THE Clark Development Corp. (CDC) on Wednesday said it has renewed its partnership with telecommunications and digital services provider PLDT Clarktel Inc.
In 2024, PLDT Clarktel and its sister company Smart signed an agreement to provide internet connectivity for CDC at the Philippine MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) Conference at the SMX Convention Center Clark in Pampanga.
The contract renewal was signed on June 10 by CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanadera and PLDT Clarktel CEO Javier Lagdameo.
It covers the continued provision of digital tools and connectivity services used by locator firms, workers and government units operating at the Clark Freeport Zone.
It includes enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365, internet connectivity and communications systems designed to support internal coordination, information security and service delivery for the freeport.
“Clark’s continued growth depends not only on physical infrastructure, but also on systems and partnerships that ensure operations remain reliable and responsive,” Devanadera said.
“Digital systems need to continuously evolve to support organizations as they expand,” Lagdameo said.
The Clark Freeport Zone hosts more than 1,200 businesses with 150,000 workers.
PLDT Clarktel is also one of CDC’s pioneer locators. It has been serving the Clark Freeport Zone since its inception in June 1997.
