Kota Kinabalu: PBS Youth Vice Head Gerard Chia wants the Election Commission to do the necessary to protect and uphold the rights of genuine citizens by “cleaning up” of the Electoral Roll before the 15th General Election.
While expressing how appalled, worried and concerned he was with the drastic increase of voters he said it caused fear and trepidation among Sabahans, especially the younger generation.
“Several political parties, including non-governmental organisations, have also started to voice concerns and demand explanation from the Election Commission,” he said, in a statement, Sunday.
