Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) will temporarily close parking areas in the city to make way for the Ramadan Bazaar from today (March 1) to March 30.

The affected parking areas are Lintasan Deasoka (Dataran Lintasan Deasoka, Jalan Bandaran and Lintasan Deasoka parking lots), Padang Merdeka (parking area),

Indah Permai (parking area next to Bataras), Sembulan Night Market, Tanjung Aru (parking area in front of Daily Express), Inanam Night Market, Inanam Point Night Market, Menggatal Night Market, Kingfisher Night Market, Plaza Manggatal, University Apartment (UA), University Utama Square (UUS), KK City Night Market (next to the Umno building), Kepayan 88 Avenue, Plaza Juta Likas and DBKK Sungai Darau Greenway Public Park (in front of the Federal Government Administration Complex/Mini Putrajaya).

In a statement, City Hall urged road users to obey the instructions of enforcement officers on duty and use nearby public parking spaces.

It also urged road users to be careful throughout the period to ensure safety and smooth traffic.
