
Kota Kinabalu: City Hall will temporarily close roads and parking areas to accommodate the 2024 Sabah Day National Month launch ceremony and the Sabah State Level Flag-Fly campaign on July 30 and Aug 1.
For the rehearsal event on July 30, the parking lots at Jalan Tugu (from the Kampung Air roundabout to Horizon Hotel roundabout) would be closed from 12am to 5pm, while roads - Jalan Tugu, Jalan Pantai and Jalan Bandaran - would be closed intermittently from 2pm to 5pm.
For the Aug 1 event, parking lost at Jalan Tugu (from the Kampung Air roundabout to Horizon Hotel roundabout), Lintasan Deasoka (behind City Hall), Gaya Square 1 (behind Mandarin Hotel) would be closed from 12am to noon, while roads - Jalan Tugu, Jalan Pantai and Jalan Bandaran - would closed intermittently from 5am to noon.
City Hall’s Complaints and Public Relations Department, in a statement Saturday, advised the public to follow the directions of enforcement officers and use alternative routes to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
