Cloud seeding ops to continue in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Hajiji also said the Government would continue cloud seeding operations if the current hot and dry weather persists to help ease the burden of water supply in several areas badly affected by the drought in Sabah.

“It is up to the experts to determine the suitability of clouds because not all clouds can result in rain,” he said.

Based on recommendations of the Meteorological Department, Sabah started cloud seeding operations from Mar 28 to Mar 30, which produced positive results.
