
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has expressed confidence that strategic ties between Sabah and China will continue to strengthen through diplomatic relations and joint development initiatives.
He conveyed this during a courtesy call by the newly appointed Chinese Consul General in Kota Kinabalu, Dr Zhu Xinglong, at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.
Hajiji congratulated Zhu on his appointment and welcomed him to his new post in Sabah.

The visit marked Zhu’s introductory call since assuming office, succeeding former Consul General Dr Huang Shifang.
