
TUARAN: The cultural diversity in Sabah must continue to be celebrated by the people, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He said that diversity in cultural aspects, such as the Lantern Festival celebration, is among the factors that have united and brought peace to the people of this state.
“This is the uniqueness and strength of Sabah, an example to other states.
"We celebrate various festivals together, regardless of race or religion," he said when officiating the Lantern Festival at the Town Field, here, Saturday.
