"Both incidents have thrown people into challenging situations. Many lives have been lost. "Alhamdullilah, under the Sabah Head of State as patron, we have succeeded in overcoming these challenges. "The people of Sabah, regardless of race, culture, religion and belief, have always demonstrated their love and care to His Excellency Tun and his wife Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Norlidah RM Jasni in all the public programmes they graced," he said.
