KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor led the Corruption-Free Pledge ceremony involving members of the State Cabinet at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.

After reciting the pledge, Hajiji and the Cabinet members signed the Integrity Pledge document witnessed by Sabah Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission director Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah.

Mohd Fuad said the implementation of the programme with the Sabah State Cabinet reflects a positive commitment by the State Government to strengthen integrity and good governance.

He said the initiative would be expanded to ministries and agencies under the State Government to ensure anti-corruption efforts are carried out comprehensively.

He added that the programme demonstrates the seriousness of efforts to prevent corruption, abuse of power and financial leakages, and expressed hope that more ministries, departments, government-linked companies and private sector entities would participate.
