KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic) has urged Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) supporters to remain vigilant against false narratives ahead of the 17th State Election.
He said various social media content currently circulating were among the key challenges faced by GRS in maintaining the government’s stability and public trust.
Hajiji described these claims as politically motivated propaganda aimed at undermining GRS through misinformation and slander.

Addressing the Gagasan Rakyat annual general assembly, Hajiji said Sabahans have seen the results of GRS’s efforts over the past five years, which were rooted in sincerity and grassroots aspirations.
He added that although Gagasan Rakyat is still a young party, its leaders are seasoned and committed to principled leadership forged through experience and perseverance.
Hajiji stressed that GRS’s success despite challenges and opposition criticism reflected the coalition’s resolve, and called on members to protect their ‘political home’ from internal and external threats.
